Libyan Authorities Arrest 41 Illegal Immigrants in Nesma

The Department of Special Tasks of the Ministry of Interior has announced the arrest of 41 illegal immigrants in Wadi Marist of Nesma, south of Libya.

According to information released by the administration, the migrants, who came from the countries of Sudan, Niger, Ethiopia, and Eritrea, confirmed during investigations that they were en route to Tripoli.

The Department of Special Tasks referred the migrants to the Anti-Illegal Migration Agency, specifically to the Desert Patrols Department in Bani Walid to complete the legal procedures.

Last Thursday, the Ajdabiya Security Directorate said it transferred 429 irregular immigrants of different nationalities to the Anti-Illegal Immigration Department in Tripoli.
