Tajikistan and Russia to sign about 20 cooperation agreements

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will arrive in Dushanbe on March 2. Intergovernmental meetings and high-level talks are planned during the visit.

As part of Mishustin’s visit to Dushanbe, the Ninth Conference on Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Tajikistan “Business and Investment Partnership between Russia and Tajikistan” will be held on March 2-3, Asia-Plus was told at the State Committee on Investment of Tajikistan.

The conference is held to expand practical cooperation between Russia and Tajikistan. Panel sessions of the conference will be devoted to the topics of Russian-Tajik cooperation in the field of industrial cooperation, energy, ecology, transport and logistics, as well as scientific, educational and humanitarian spheres.

On the second day of the conference, industry B2B meetings will be held. It is also planned to hold a meeting of the Russian-Tajik Business Council, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation reports .

The head of this department, Maxim Reshetnikov, will also be a participant in the conference, and in total, about 500 representatives of Russian business communities are expected to attend the event.

According to the RitmEurasia portal , on the second day of the conference, SME Corporation JSC (federal corporation for the support of small and medium-sized businesses), together with the All-Russian public organization of small and medium-sized businesses Opora Rossii, organizes an exchange of contacts for SMEs in Dushanbe.

It will be attended by Tajik companies representing the industries of metallurgy, engineering, textile and food industries, agriculture and animal husbandry, medicine, IT services and products.
