Online Auction Supports Kids With Mission Zimbabwe

Mission Zimbabwe’s online auction is now open.

A release says there are over 200 items to bid on including gift baskets, outdoor adventures, crafts, art pieces, gift certificates to local restaurants, home décor items, hand sewn quilts, clothing and tools.

Organizers say new items will continue to be added each day. Bidding continues until Tuesday, November 8th at 9:00 pm.

The Mission Zimbabwe event, organized through the Hope Community Church in Hanover, raises money to support the children at the Village of Hope and Vimbainesu Children’s Home in Zimbabwe.

On its website, the church says its humanitarian mission includes sending a short-term mission team to the Village of Hope yearly, promoting the sponsorship of children in Zimbabwe, implementing an education fund for students to continue their education, providing an annual education budget for the Vimbainesu Children’s Home and supporting food programs to support over 2,000 children in the community.

You can go to the auction directly by using the following link, www.32auctions.com/MissionZimbabwe.

People can also go to Hopecc.ca and then click on the auction button which will take them to the online auction website.

Organizers say you can pay by credit card online or by cash or cheque at the time when items are picked up at the church.
